Travel Insurance
If you are a financial member of the CFMEU Qld/NT or Plumbers Union Qld you may be eligible for travel insurance at no extra cost (up to 75 years of age).
Travel insurance covers you, your accompanying spouse/defacto and dependent children when travelling for more than 250km from your usual place of residence within Australia or overseas for up to 180 days.

Overseas Medical and Additional Expenses
If you are diagnosed with COVID overseas and need treatment on your holiday then the BERT Travel Insurance policy will cover your medical and additional expenses. The sum insured for emergency medical treatment is unlimited.
Loss of Deposits
In the event of a claim arising from COVID the maximum the policy will pay is $5,000 per person up to a maximum of $10,000 per trip.
